Delivering Specialized IT Support to Bexar County

Bexar (pronounced "bear") County, in south central Texas, is one of the fastest growing regions in the state. The County Seat is San Antonio, home of the Alamo, just one of the area's many historic attractions.

When Bexar County needed assistance to successfully complete an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiative, it called on DataComm for specialized resources and a custom-tailored solution.

The project, called CHRIS (County Human Resource Information System), was a SAP implementation that included Payroll, Time Management, Benefits, Personnel Administration, Recruitment (Web) and a number of other modules.

Brought onto the project because of their specific expertise with SAP R/3 4.6c, DataComm consultants contributed technical and functional IT consulting in the following areas:

In addition to consulting, the project also required that DataComm professionals perform system testing, data conversion and user training.
